Greets and escorts patients to exam areas, measures vital signs, such as pulse rate, temperature, blood pressure, weight, and heightPrepares treatment rooms for patient examsAssists mid-level practitioner with care of acute and chronic occupational injuries and illnessDisinfects, cleans treatment rooms following patient exams, maintaining a safe, secure and healthy work environment by establishing and following standards and procedures.Keeps exam rooms stocked with adequate medical supplies, maintains instruments, and prepares sterilization as required. Properly disposes of contaminated supplies.Aids in supply inventory and stocking.Aids in maintaining all logs and required checks (refrigerated temps, etc.)Administers first aid supportOperates electrocardiograph (EKG), Spirometry, X-ray, hearing booth, and other equipment to administer routine diagnostic testsPerforms injections or treatments as ordered or per protocolMaintains all documentation, procedures, and records to ensure compliancePerforms administrative tasks and assists at the front deskThis does not necessarily list all responsibilities, duties, requirements, or efforts associated with the job.
