We are looking for a highly motivated, customer focused Food Runner to join our team! The Food Runner serves as an essential connection between the culinary and service teams and is responsible for delivering food accurately, promptly, safely, and according to presentation standards.

Your role:

• Maintain constant communication with culinary and service colleagues.
• Verify table number, seat number, menu item, modifications, and accompaniments before leaving the kitchen.
• Deliver food promptly to the correct guest and position.
• Announce dishes professionally when appropriate.
• Ensure required condiments, sauces, utensils, and accompaniments are delivered with each item.
• Maintain knowledge of menu ingredients and common allergens sufficient to safely perform the role.
• Never guess when asked an allergy or ingredient question; obtain assistance from the appropriate colleague.
• Inspect plates for obvious presentation or accuracy issues before delivery.
• Immediately communicate missing, incorrect, delayed, or compromised items.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of expo and food-running areas.
• Assist with table maintenance, clearing, resetting, water service, and other service functions when operationally necessary.
• Follow food-safety requirements when transporting and handling food.
• Support all designated Food & Beverage outlets as assigned based on business needs.
• Perform opening, running, and closing side work.
• Perform other reasonable duties as assigned.

What are we looking for?

• Previous restaurant experience preferred.
• Ability to learn menus, table numbers, seat positions, and service standards.
• Strong sense of urgency and attention to detail.

Compensation:

Actual compensation packages are based on a wide array of factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, years & depth of experience, certifications and specific office location. This may differ in other locations due to cost of labor considerations.
