Co-op/Intern

Full time in-person role in Corpus Christi, TX. Monday through Friday: 8am-5pm for a sophomore or Junior student. Beginning July 2026 - December 2026. Role will require the student to take a semester off of classes. Responsibilities Will support the equipment survey process and Flowstar.net program Will support inventory survey and consolidation efforts Will support daily advancements toward the agreed upon as set forth by the Engineering Manager Will examine failed products, providing both written and oral explanations to the responsible Flowserve personnel Develop and acquire basic knowledge of pump and mechanical seal fundamentals to support Flowserve activities Develop and maintain working relationship with Application Engineers, Sales Engineers, Regional Reliability Engineer, and Engineering Manager Attend and support meetings as designated by management Will support key initiatives supporting the local Flowserve Quick Response Center Requirements BS in Engineering enrollment in good standing at an accredited university Good communication skills and computer skills Knowledge of Microsoft programs a must Ability to utilize measuring equipment (i.e.. dial calipers, micrometers, etc.) a plus Demonstrates mechanical aptitude Ability to organize and prioritize responsibilities in a self-directed environment Ability to learn quickly and develop good trouble shooting skills Strong work ethic with positive attitude Reliable transportation Ability to travel occasionally to support needs within the Gulf Coast Region #J-18808-Ljbffr
