A bartender is responsible for preparing and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, ensuring a great customer experience while maintaining a clean and organized bar area. They engage with patrons, recommend drinks, and ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Mix, garnish, and serve drinks according to recipes and customer preferences.
• Maintain knowledge of a wide variety of beverages, including cocktails, beers, wines, and spirits.
• Greet customers, take orders, and provide recommendations based on preferences.
• Build relationships with regular patrons to create a welcoming atmosphere.
• Handle payments, operate cash registers, and manage tabs accurately.
• Monitor and restock bar inventory, including liquor, mixers, and supplies.
• Keep the bar area clean and organized, including washing glasses and equipment.
• Follow all food and beverage safety regulations.
• Work closely with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth service.
• Participate in staff meetings and training sessions.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a bartender or in a similar role is preferred.
• Knowledge of mixology, drink recipes, and techniques.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle pressure.
• Must meet the legal age requirement to serve alcohol.
