Tool & Die Maker

ATACO Steel Products Corp is hiring an experienced Tool & Die Maker to support our metal stamping operations. This role focuses on building, repairing, and maintaining stamping dies, fixtures, and tooling to keep production running efficiently. Schedule: 1st Shift Monday-Thursday, 4:00 AM-2:00 PM OR Monday-Thursday, 6:00 AM-4:00 PM Occasional Friday overtime, up to 2 Fridays a month mandatory 2nd Shift Monday-Thursday, 2:00 PM-12:00 AM Occasional Friday overtime, up to 2 Fridays a month mandatory What You'll Do Build, repair, and maintainstamping dies, fixtures, and tooling Perform die maintenance and troubleshooting during production changeovers Program, set up, and operateCNC mills and manual machining equipment Machine and fit tooling components to precise tolerances Read and interpret blueprints andGD&T specifications Work with engineering and production teams to improve tooling performance Maintain records of tooling repairs and modifications What We're Looking For Completion of a Tool & Die or Toolmaker apprenticeship 7+ years of experience in a metal stamping or toolmaking environment Strong knowledge ofprecision machining, blueprint reading, and GD&T Experience operatingCNC mills and manual machine tools Ability to troubleshoot tooling and die issues independently Why People Like Working at ATACO 4-day workweek Family-owned company with a collaborative team environment Variety of complex tooling and stamping work Opportunity to work closely with engineering and production teams Benefits Health Dental Vision HSA Life & AD&D Short- and Long-Term Disability 401(k) with company match vacation holidays education assistance and gainsharing.
