Junior Network Engineer

Must be ON SITE IN CHARLOTTE, NC Charlotte, NC | Contract- must be onsite & local to Uptown ONSITE About the Role We are looking for a hands‑on Network Engineer to support physical network infrastructure in a data center environment. This role is focused on the physical side of networking — racking, stacking, and cabling — and is a great opportunity for someone early in their career who wants to build real‑world infrastructure experience. What You’ll Do Install, rack, and stack servers and networking equipment in a data center environment Run, label, and manage structured cabling (copper and fiber) Support physical network builds and hardware deployments Assist with troubleshooting physical connectivity issues Maintain accurate documentation of physical infrastructure Collaborate with senior network engineers on larger projects What We’re Looking For CCNA certification (required or actively pursuing) 1–3 years of hands‑on experience in a data center or network infrastructure environment Solid understanding of basic networking concepts (TCP/IP, VLANs, switching) Experience with physical cabling — structured cabling, patch panels, cable management Ability to lift and move equipment as needed Detail‑oriented with strong documentation habits Comfortable working independently in a fast‑paced environment Nice to Have Experience with Cisco networking equipment Familiarity with data center best practices Any hands‑on lab or home lab experience This is a contract role based onsite in Charlotte, NC. #J-18808-Ljbffr
