Synthetic Organic Chemist

Base salary $100,000-$120,000 Benefits include medical, dental, vision,life insurance, PTO, 401k. Join an innovative R&D organization developing novel organic molecules for next-generation materials. This is a highly hands-on laboratory role where you'll design synthetic routes, solve complex chemistry challenges, and collaborate with multidisciplinary scientists to bring new technologies to life. Requirements: PhD in Organic Chemistry or a closely related field Strong background in multi-step organic synthesis (graduate research experience counts) Industry experience preferred but not required; outstanding PhD graduates, postdocs, and research organization candidates are encouraged to apply Experience with analytical techniques including NMR, GC, LC, and mass spectrometry Ability to design practical synthetic pathways using scientific literature Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills Passion for fundamental organic chemistry and scientific innovation Key Responsibilities: Design and synthesize novel organic molecules at the laboratory scale Develop and optimize multi-step synthetic routes and methodologies Perform purification techniques including chromatography, distillation, and crystallization Characterize reaction products using analytical instrumentation Maintain accurate laboratory notebooks and technical documentation Present research findings and recommend next steps to project teams Collaborate with cross-functional R&D scientists to support product development Provide technical insight to internal stakeholders while promoting a safe laboratory environment **If you’d like to hear more about this opportunity and others we are currently working on, please contact Tory Mack View email address on click.appcast.io JO: 7.14.26TM #LI-TM1 CPS
