Athletic Trainer Schedule: Full time Highpoint Health Winchester with Ascension Saint Thomas is part of Lifepoint Health, a diversified healthcare delivery network dedicated to making communities healthier. As an Athletic Trainer you will provide exceptional care to athletes and help them achieve their full potential. How you'll contribute Recognizes, manages, and rehabilitates injuries to professional, amateur and recreational athletes. Provides techniques for injury prevention and instructs on safe exercise techniques. Prepares athletes for practice or competition. Evaluates injuries, manages them, and determines when a referral is necessary. Maintains medical files and serves as liaison between physician and athlete. Implements treatment and rehabilitation programs under physician supervision. Develops conditioning programs for injured and non‑injured athletes.
