Registered Nurse (RN) - Emergency DepartmentWe are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Emergency Medicine to join our team. This position involves providing high-quality nursing care in a fast-paced emergency department setting, primarily during night shifts.Shift InformationShift: Night 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:00)Weekend: Every Other Weekend RequirementOn-call: No On-call Duty RequiredJob ResponsibilitiesThe Registered Nurse (RN) in the Emergency Department will:Assess and triage patients in a timely manner.Provide emergency care and support to patients with acute illnesses or injuries.Work collaboratively with medical staff to develop and implement patient care plans.Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans as necessary.Educate patients and their families on health management and disease prevention.Document patient assessments and interventions accurately.Float within facility as needed, adhering to scope of practice.QualificationsMinimum of 2 years of nursing experience required.Emergency Department experience preferred, but first-time travelers are welcome.Current nursing license and clinical competency.Ability to handle high-pressure situations and make quick decisions.Additional InformationCompliance is essential for timely onboarding. All candidates must achieve full compliance to start on time. If not compliant within the required timeframe, a delay of 2 weeks may occur due to the bi-weekly orientation schedule.Holiday RequirementsThe traveler is expected to work any major holiday that falls within their assignment period, with specific expectations based on the number of holidays:If one major holiday occurs, work is expected.If two major holidays occur, both are to be worked.If three major holidays occur, two are to be worked.AvailabilityTravelers must provide a maximum of 7 days of requested time off (RTO).
