General Machine Operator (02345)

Adecco is searching for a qualified Operator in Plymouth! This is a temp to hire opportunity.

Hours: 1st Shift

Pay: $17-$20/hour DOE

Position Summary

The Operator is responsible for creating precise images on coated materials using ultraviolet (UV) light equipment, Mylar photo tools, and laser direct imaging (LDI) electronic files. This role supports downstream processes such as etching by ensuring materials are accurately exposed, developed, and baked according to production specifications.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, focused, and comfortable working with specialized equipment in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

Imaging & Processing

• Operate UV exposure equipment using Mylar photo tools or laser direct imaging (LDI) files

• Perform exposing processes according to general and customer-specific instructions to produce uniform, high-quality images

• Operate conveyorized developing equipment to remove unexposed resist

• Bake processed sheets in industrial ovens to prepare materials for etching and subsequent operations

Quality & Documentation

• Inspect, maintain, and properly register photo tools prior to use

• Read and follow special instructions when required

• Report defective materials, inconsistencies, or questionable conditions to the Department Lead

• Ensure all work meets customer specifications and internal quality standards

Equipment & Work Area Maintenance

• Maintain equipment and work areas in a clean, safe, and orderly condition

• Follow all prescribed safety procedures and regulations

• Perform preventive maintenance tasks according to established PM schedules

Production Support

• Complete tasks in accordance with manufacturing schedules with minimal supervision

• Collaborate with team members and leadership to meet production goals and deadlines

Pay Details: $17.00 to $20.00 per hour
