Penn State Berks is an NCAA Division III institution and a member of the United East Conference. Please visit for more information about the athletics and recreation program.Job DutiesResponsibilities include day-to-day operations, coaching and conditioning of athletes, practice and game preparation, and team travel.The Head Coach will develop and implement a comprehensive recruiting and retention program as well as perform organizational tasks as assigned by the Director of Athletics.The Head Coach will also be responsible for understanding and maintaining compliance with NCAA and United East rules and regulations.Requirements and QualificationsSuccessful playing and/or coaching experience at the collegiate level is preferable.Previous recruiting preferred.The successful candidate must have demonstrated knowledge of the sport and the ability to communicate well with team players.The candidate must demonstrate a commitment to the academic and athletic success of the student-athlete, and to the highest of ethical standards.A bachelor’s degree, previous playing and/or coaching experience, and availability for practice and competition are required.May require the ability to work in an outdoor environment in adverse weather conditions including extreme heat and cold.Interested individuals should submit a letter of application, and resume as a part of the online application.
