Travel Interventional Radiology Technologist - $3,000 per week

Overview Travel Interventional Radiology Technologist. Position based in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, for a 13‑week assignment. 40 hours per week, 8‑hour days. Start ASAP. Responsibilities Demonstrates thorough knowledge of radiographic/digital imaging equipment and table positioning for safe patient care. Acquires and transmits images to the Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS). Communicates verbally and in written form with team members. Transports patients to and from procedural, admitting, and recovery areas. Assists with patient transfer to and from the procedure table and stretcher. Maintains communication with the physician operator during procedures to ensure patient safety, diagnosis, and treatment. Assists with contrast media administration, recognizing and responding to contrast reactions. Reviews history, physical exams, lab values, prior imaging, and correlates protocols with the patient’s physiological status; communicates findings. Demonstrates willingness to learn new procedures and coordinates in‑service/education for other associates. Qualifications Graduate of an American Medical Association (AMA) approved Diagnostic Radiology program. BLS (Basic Life Support) certification. Florida‑licensed radiologic technologist, credentialed through ARRT. Ability to respond onsite within 30 minutes during on‑call rotations.
