Construction Superintendent

We are seeking a skilled Construction Superintendent to oversee and manage construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role will involve coordinating with various stakeholders including contractors, architects, and clients, particularly in the areas of commercial, educational, healthcare, and municipal construction.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee daily construction operations and ensure compliance with safety regulations and building codes.
Coordinate and supervise subcontractors and construction teams to achieve project milestones.
Manage project schedules, budgets, and resources effectively to ensure timely completion.
Communicate regularly with project stakeholders to provide updates and address any issues that arise.
Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and quality of work.
Prepare and maintain detailed project documentation, including reports and schedules.
Collaborate with architects and engineers to ensure design specifications are met.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Construction Superintendent or similar role in commercial and multifamily construction projects.
Strong knowledge of construction processes, safety regulations, and building codes.
Experience with K-12 education, healthcare, and municipal construction projects is highly desirable.
Excellent leadership and communication skills to manage diverse teams.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field preferred.
