Housekeeping Supervisor

The Housekeeping Supervisor is responsible for supervising housekeeping employees and overseeing the daily operations of the housekeeping department. Responsibilities include conducting multiple physical inspections of hotel rooms, suites, guest common areas and employee areas; supervising housekeeping employees; assisting hotel guests with inquiries and or problem resolution; assigning work to Room Attendants and training associates in housekeeping duties, which may include performing cleaning duties; writing requisitions for room supplies and furniture renovation or replacements; and examining carpets, drapes and furniture for stains, damage, or wear.

Qualifications include prior industry experience, a minimum age of 21, the ability to obtain licenses required by state law, professional appearance and demeanor, effective communication skills, and availability to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
