Job Title

Registered Nurse – ICU (Float Pool)

Location

Allentown, PA

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Nights (3x12 Hours, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | Onsite | Every other weekend and every other holiday required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in an intensive care setting with patient ratios ranging from 1:1 to 3:1
• Float across critical care units as part of a float pool assignment
• Care for adult patient populations in a high-acuity environment
• Accurately document all patient care activities using EPIC electronic health records
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams in a Teaching Hospital and Trauma Level I environment

Required Qualifications

• Active Pennsylvania RN license or valid Compact RN license required at time of submission
• Minimum of 2 years of ICU experience required
• Minimum of 2 years of CVICU experience required
• Proficiency with EPIC charting system
• Ability and willingness to float across critical care units
• PA Fingerprints (Childline) required prior to start

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior Critical Care Float Pool experience strongly preferred
• Experience working in a Teaching Hospital or Trauma Level I facility
