Let Purvis Industries show you how we practice these principles daily!Job SummaryAs a Belt Technician with Snake River Supply, you will perform a variety of duties within the shop, in the field, and at customer locations centered around installing, repairing, and replacing conveyor belts. This role allows you to learn a new trade and start a new career where your professional advancement is in your hands. You will report to the lead Belt Technician perform the following duties listed below but not limited to:Execute duties related to a variety of shop work.Fabricating custom conveyor beltingCutting plastic sheeting.Commit to communicating, improving, and adhering to safety policies in all work environments and areas.Completes all required paperwork (time sheets, service orders, forms, inventory, expense reports,Performs other duties as assigned.QualificationsRequired:Valid Driver's License.High School diploma or equivalent.Legally authorized to work in the United States.Mechanical Aptitude.Ability to lift 50 plus pounds often.Ability to work in tight spaces or at heights for an extended period.Ability to work a variety of schedules: overtime, on-call and weekends if needed.Must be able to pass a background check and have a clean driving record.Ability to utilize a tape measure, hand/power tools and some machines.Forklift experience is a plus but not required.Detail oriented.
