Seasonal Maintenance Technician- Oak Island Accommodations

$17 per hour

Essential Responsibilities:

Work to ensure owners and tenants needs are met and homes are maintained.
Basic home repairs on a daily basis (i.e. troubleshooting, basic plumbing, carpentry, locks, HVAC, pool, dry wall repair, appliances, electrical, etc)
Assisting Property Managers, owners and guests as needed
Recording and remittance of completed work orders to lead maintenance technician at the end of each work day
Proper notations on all work orders, particularly if additional follow up required
Other duties as assigned

Must know how to use hand tools and small electrical power tools
Has strong verbal communication skills
Has strong customer service skills
Has a valid Driver’s License
Has basic administrative skills including reading, writing and math
Obeys all applicable Federal laws, rules, and regulations relating to Anti-Money Laundering (AML) including the Bank Secrecy Act (BSA)
Able to keep an accurate inventory of work vehicle/stock

Physical Requirements:

Express or exchange ideas by means of the spoken word via email and verbally
Ability to lift up to 60 pounds and exert up to 50 pounds of force. Use your arms and legs. Frequent standing, walking, carrying, bending, reaching, twisting, and lifting.
Have close visual acuity to perform activities such as analyzing data, viewing a computer terminal, reading, and preparing documentation
Subject to internal and external environmental conditions

Rate of Pay: $17.00 per hour
