Work Schedule: Full-Time

Compensation: $27.50-$27.50/hr

Tessera is seeking a supportive and skilled Service Order Dispatcher with a helpful attitude.

Typical duties include but are not limited to:

• Receive and log incoming service requests from customers via phone, email, or online portal.

• Schedule service appointments based on technician availability, geographic location, and job urgency.

• Communicate clearly with field technicians to assign work orders and provide accurate customer site information.

• Keep customers informed regarding their technician's estimated arrival time (ETA) or any unexpected schedule adjustments.

• Verify completion of work orders, ensuring technician notes, parts used, and hours worked are accurately entered into the database.

• Manage office documentation by scanning, filing, and archiving service invoices, customer receipts, and warranty paperwork.

• Welcome walk-in guests, clients, and delivery drivers, directing them to the appropriate person or handling their inquiries.

• Make outbound reminder calls to clients to confirm scheduled appointments for the following day.

• Follow up after service via phone or email to ensure customers are satisfied and to gather feedback on their experience.

Qualifications:

• 1-3 years of experience with dispatching, customer service, or logistics; experience in

• a military or DPW environment is highly preferred

• Proficiency with computer databases, data entry, and computerized maintenance

• management systems (CMMS).

• Experience with Army BUILDER Remote Entry Database (BRED) is preferred.

Physical Requirements:

Employees must have the ability to perform the following physical demands for extended periods of time with or without assistance. The physical demands of this position may be reasonably accommodated for individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions on a case-by-case basis.

• Must be able to lift and/or move up to 10 pounds.

• May be required to reach, kneel, walk, stand, and use repetitive motion for several hours at a time based on position duties.

• Work may require repetitive motion, reaching, lifting, kneeling, and walking. Standing or sitting for several hours at a time, climbing in and out of a vehicle, and up and down stairs may also be required.

• Must have the perseverance to work effectively under pressure for extended periods of time.

Requirements:

• A valid state driver’s license is required with the ability to obtain and maintain coverage by Tessera’s insurance.
