Sales Coordinator

Job Title

Location: Lansing, MI

Duration: 12 Months

Responsibilities:

Serve as a contact between sales, customers, and internal departments in the absence of sales and program managers.

Attend meetings as requested, preparing and performing note-taking or action register maintenance.

Lead meetings with proper management, including setting agendas and maintaining action registers.

Develop and monitor project timelines and costs to ensure on-time delivery and anticipated profit margin.

Monitor project cost and cost reporting for accuracy and tracking against the anticipated profit margin.

Initiate, track, organize, prioritize, and monitor multiple projects through development, production, and fulfillment.

Use creative problem-solving to achieve sales and customer objectives.

Resolve project and program issues by investigating data, identifying solutions, and notifying program managers or other internal staff.

Communicate changes in project specifications and scheduling.

Interpret requests for developmental and other work and communicate needs to appropriate departments.

Ensure smooth project flow by continuously communicating with appropriate internal staff.

Work with others in the company to research, establish, and maintain production procedures and standards.

Enter and maintain project data in departmental project management software.

Develop, manage, and distribute reporting of project and departmental metrics and reports.

Prepare sales presentations by compiling data, developing presentation formats, and creating materials.

Assist in interaction and relationships with external resources.

Assist in price proposal and product development.

Perform other job duties as assigned.

Requirements:

Ability to communicate proactively.

Excellent follow-up and follow-through skills.

Experience managing multiple projects successfully.

Experience entering data using a variety of computer software programs.

Intermediate to high-level proficiency using all Microsoft Office applications; Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Ability to multi-task while maintaining a high level of accuracy.

Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers and other employees.

Ability to perform all essential functions of this job with or without reasonable accommodation.
