About the Position

TravelNurseSource is working with Aptiva Corp to find a qualified PCU / Stepdown RN in Albany, Georgia, 31701!

A facility in Albany, GA is seeking its next amazing RN (Registered Nurse) for 17 weeks assignment to work in PCU/Stepdown unit. Minimum of 2 years of recent clinical experience required. 

Facility Details:
Unit - PCU/Stepdown - this is Cardiac Stepdown
Shift: Days, 12*4 - 7a-7p, 48 hrs./week
Charting System: MEDITECH
Ratios: 1:5
Weekend Requirement Every other weekend
Holidays: Must be flexible and work as needed holidays and days around holidays
Scrub Color Caribbean Blue
Floating to ICU but would only take stepdown patients unless have ICU experience.
Types of patients: POD #1 CABG, anything cardiovascular surgery including fem pops, arteriogram, CEA. , thoracotomy, vats, EVARS, AAA repairs, arteriograms, carotid endarterectomies, stents, pacemakers, ablations, AICD, CHF, afib w/ RVR, CABG w/ pacer wires, adenosine cardioversions, a lot of chest tubes.

Minimum Requirements: 
Certs: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS
Active RN License required
Must have 2 years experience required. 
Radius rule of 75 miles is applied.
