Physician Assistant Job in Central California Physician Assistant opportunity in Central California. You will be responsible for diagnostic examinations, tests, and procedures, including ordering of laboratory tests and radiological examinations. The PA will provide treatment for medical conditions, procedures, consultations, and prescribe approved medications. They will prepare consultations for specialty care and record patient education on the appropriate forms. Requirements include being a graduate of a Physician Assistant program accredited by the Committee of Allied Health Education and Accreditation (CAHEA) and having current certification as a Physician Assistant by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA). Additionally, candidates must have worked as a Physician Assistant for 24 months within the past 36 months and have certification in basic life support (BLS).
