Tax Preparer - RemoteHigh-producing tax preparer wanted for year-round remote work for several of our CPA and tax services firms. Flexible hours. Work from home.Fully remote role has you preparing individual and business tax returns, handling off-season projects like tax projections, notice resolution, and communicating directly with clients. If interested chance to learn review work with advancement opportunity.Prepare individual and business tax returns. 1040, 1065, 1120, 1120S (preparation of 990, 1041, 706 and 709 returns nice to have)Some preparation of more complex tax returns to include multi-state, flow through entities, multi-tiered partnerships and consolidated corporations.Assist with off season projects such as tax projections, reasonable compensation studies, tax notice resolution.Conduct tax research as neededHandle client communications through portal messaging, phone calls, and video meetings3-5 years of recent tax experience in a public accounting firmAbility to work independently as well as the ability to work well with clients and team membersPast experience working in a fully remote workspaceComfortable working directly with clients, explaining complex tax issues in easy-to-understand termsStrong organizational and interpersonal skillsTechnically strongEnjoys working in a technology-friendly environmentMust have CPA firm experienceFully remote role; flexible remote work scheduleGrowing firm - opportunity for learning and career growthSalary commensurate with experienceIf this resonates with your experience and ambition, we invite you to connect and attach your resume and state your salary requirements within this application—we would love to hear from you!
