What You’ll Do:
- Lead tax engagements for businesses and individuals, ensuring compliance and strategic tax planning.
- Provide expert guidance on tax strategies, regulations, and opportunities for clients.
- Review and oversee tax returns, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- Mentor and train junior tax staff, fostering professional development within the team.
- Stay up to date with evolving tax laws and regulations to provide proactive client solutions.
- Meet productivity and efficiency standards (billable hours).
What We’re Looking For:
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) Required – Must hold an active CPA license.
- Experience – Minimum of 3-5 years in public accounting, with a focus on tax consulting.
- Technical Expertise – Deep understanding of federal and state tax codes, regulations, and compliance.
- Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills – Ability to identify tax-saving opportunities and develop innovative strategies.
- Strong Communication & Leadership – Adept at managing client relationships and mentoring staff.
- Tech-Savvy – Proficiency in tax preparation software and financial systems (Ultra Tax experience a bonus).
