Mailroom Associate

We are seeking a fast-paced, reliable, and detail-oriented Mailroom Associate to join our Beaverton, OR team. This position plays a critical role in processing and typing overnight mailings, along with supporting overall operations within the Mail Center, including handwork, quality checks, fanning, and mail sorting. If you thrive in a high-volume, dynamic environment, work with high accuracy, and possess typing skills, we want to hear from you.

salary: $19.99 - $20 per hour

work hours: 8 AM - 4 PM

Responsibilities

• Overnight Typing & Mail Processing: Accurate and rapid typing of overnight mailings and records (minimum 45 WPM).
• Handwork Operations: Stapling packets, stuffing envelopes, and organizing materials according to standard operating procedures (requires sitting for extended periods).
• Fanning & Production Quality Checks: Assist insertion and sorter operators at the end of mail machines; perform line breakdowns, prepare trays for USPS entry, and perform thorough quality checks (requires standing for full shift).
• Postage Metering: Apply postage to mail pieces using a postage meter, ensuring full compliance with USPS regulations before and after processing.
• Transaction Balancing: Balance daily mailing transactions accurately.
