Room Service AssociateRoom Service Associates are responsible for delivering meals to patients and guests with a cheerful and excellent service attitude following the approved method of service.Department: Food and NutritionHours: Part-Time, 24 hours required weeklyPay: based on experience, starting at 16.54 an hourSign on bonus - $500.00ResponsibilitiesAssists in restocking coolers, plates, flatware, cups, etcAssists wherever needed in the Room Service operation – taking patient meal orders, etc.Confirms the patient's identity by checking ID badge and verifying patient name and date of birthDelivers guest trays and collects paymentDemonstrates knowledge of all menu offerings, diet variations and specifics of what may be ordered by patients based on their physician prescribed dietEnsures that all foods are covered, labeled, dated and timed in accordance with HACCP guidelinesEnsures "Always Very Satisfied" service. Uses good judgment in addressing / resolving any patient complaintsFunctions as part of a team that ensures delivery of food to patients within approved time of 45 minutesInventories, stocks and maintains the PAR levels for the unit refrigerators with snack/food items as required to meet patient needs during hours Room Service is not availableMaintains a clean, safe and sanitary work environment as established by all regulatory agenciesMaintains a friendly and cheerful demeanor at all times while on dutyRecords and monitors all quality control indicatorsReturns soiled trays after meal service from soiled cartTransports patient Room Service carts to units and delivers meals to patients following the approved method of service and using key customer service scriptingRequirementsFood Handlers Certificate (within 30 days of hire) - Sarah Bush LincolnEstimated Compensation Range$16.54 - $25.24Pay based on experience
