Quality Assurance Technician

Location: Pooler, GA
Pay: $18.00 – $20.00 per hour
Job Type Full-Time

Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated QA Assurance Technician to join our growing team in Pooler, GA. This role is ideal for someone with experience in quality assurance within a manufacturing or food production environment who is passionate about maintaining high safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance programs, procedures, and documentation
• Inventory managment and attention to detail
• Conduct hazard analyses and identify critical control points and preventive measures
• Monitor production and quality processes to ensure compliance with GMP, HACCP, and GFSI standards
• Perform routine inspections, audits, and verification procedures
• Investigate quality concerns and support corrective and preventive actions (CAPA)
• Maintain accurate QA records, reports, and documentation
• Collaborate with production and operations teams to ensure product quality and food safety compliance
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and regulatory compliance efforts

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of related quality assurance experience in a manufacturing or production environment
• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Access
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced environment
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred

Preferred Experience

• Manufacturing experience: 1+ year preferred
• QA/Food Safety experience with GMP, HACCP, and GFSI: 1+ year required
