Front Desk Supervisor – The Wildbirch Hotel Anchorage, Alaska | Full-Time About Us The Wildbirch Hotel, a Joie de Vivre by Hyatt boutique property in the heart of downtown Anchorage, blends Alaskan character with thoughtful, personal hospitality. We’re looking for a Front Desk Supervisor who leads by example, keeps the desk running smoothly, and makes every guest feel genuinely welcomed. What You’ll Do Supervise front desk operations during assigned shifts, ensuring accurate, efficient, and friendly check-in, check-out, and guest service Lead, coach, and support Front Desk Agents; assist with training new team members on systems, standards, and procedures Resolve guest concerns promptly and professionally, escalating to management when needed Oversee shift duties including cash handling, balancing, shift reports, and key control Monitor arrivals, departures, room status, and inventory in coordination with Housekeeping and other departments Uphold Hyatt and Joie de Vivre brand standards and hotel policies Help build schedules, monitor attendance, and support a positive, accountable team culture Act as manager on duty when assigned and respond to operational issues or emergencies What We’re Looking For 1–2+ years of front desk or guest services experience in a hotel; prior lead or supervisory experience preferred Experience with property management systems (Opera or similar a plus) Strong communication, problem-solving, and de-escalation skills Calm, organized, and dependable under pressure Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays High school diploma or equivalent required What We Offer Competitive Pay DOE Full‑time employees are eligible for health, dental, and vision insurance Paid time off, Bereavement and Personal Holiday Hyatt hotel discounts and team member travel perks Growth opportunities within a supportive, close‑knit team The Wildbirch Hotel is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
