IOP Phlebotomist
Labcorp
Labcorp seeks a phlebotomist for its Minden, Louisiana patient service center to perform blood collections, process specimens, and provide customer service. The role operates Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm, with opportunities for growth and performance-based bonuses.
Responsibilities
- Perform venipuncture and capillary blood collections for all age groups
- Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, and other diagnostic purposes
- Enter patient information and maintain specimen logs accurately
- Process billing information and collect payments from patients
- Prepare specimens for testing and provide superior customer service
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Phlebotomy certification, completed training program, or 3+ months experience
- Proven customer service track record
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to pass color blindness screening
- Reliable transportation
