Accounts Payable Clerk

Job Summary AppleOne is currently recruiting an experienced Accounts Payable Clerk for a direct hire opportunity in Fresno, CA. This role is ideal for an accounting professional with strong full-cycle accounts payable experience, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a high-volume AP environment. The Accounts Payable Clerk will support accurate invoice processing, three-way matching, vendor communication, payment preparation, and account reconciliations. This is a great opportunity for a detail-oriented AP professional who values structure, teamwork, and the ability to contribute to a reliable accounting operation. This position offers the chance to work closely with accounting, purchasing, receiving, and vendor partners in a professional environment where accuracy, organization, and communication are essential to success. Key Responsibilities Process high-volume accounts payable transactions accurately and efficiently from invoice receipt through payment processing. Perform three-way matching of purchase orders, receiving documents, and vendor invoices. Review, verify, code, and enter invoices to the appropriate general ledger accounts. Prepare and process weekly and bi-weekly check runs, ACH payments, and electronic payments. Research and resolve invoice discrepancies, vendor inquiries, and payment issues in a timely manner. Reconcile vendor statements, support month-end close activities, and maintain accurate AP records and documentation. Compensation and Benefits Pay range: $23.00 to $27.00 per hour.
