HVAC Mechanic | Full Time | Day Shift

Job Summary Under the direction of the Manager, works independently in the performance of skilled, complex work in the repair, maintenance and installation of heating, ventilation and air conditioning equipment and systems. Serves as a resource to staff in the area of HVAC and building automation system education. Education and Licensure High School Diploma or GED required. EPA Refrigerant Certification preferred. Valid New Hampshire Driver's license required. Driving record from Department of Motor Vehicles and proof of insurance coverage complying with organization and departmental driving policy. Experience and Skills Minimum of 2 years’ experience in HVAC preferred. Must be familiar with Microsoft Office, building automation and internet software; have knowledge and ability to interpret and apply local and national codes and standards. Responsibilities Performs Fire Damper documentation per CMS. Creates and maintains proper documentation. Completes work orders pertaining to Life Safety, Environment of Care, Safety and Patients. Completes Preventative Maintenance Work Orders. Coordinates projects and work orders. Trains and mentors staff. Requisitions materials after conducting research for price and efficiency.
