Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough initial assessments to understand clients' mental health needs and challenges.
• Develop personalized treatment plans incorporating a variety of therapeutic modalities tailored to individual client needs.
• Utilize evidence-based techniques to deliver individual therapy that fosters personal growth and emotional resilience.
• Establish clear therapeutic goals in collaboration with clients and monitor their progress throughout the counseling process.
• Offer teletherapy sessions to ensure accessibility for clients facing barriers to in-person visits.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with ethical standards and organizational policies.
• Participate actively in continuous professional development via workshops, training sessions, and peer supervision.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your work will primarily focus on youth and families facing a range of mental health issues including trauma, anxiety, depression, and emotional distress. You will employ a compassionate, non-judgmental approach, with an emphasis on fostering trust and rapport. By understanding the unique cultural contexts of each client, you will enhance therapeutic outcomes and empower clients to take an active role in their healing journey.

Qualifications

• Current and valid state licensure as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), or Psychologist.
• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage and support clients.
• An empathetic, compassionate, and open-minded attitude that creates a safe therapeutic space.
• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage time effectively, balancing client appointments and documentation.

Preferred Experience

While a broad spectrum of experiences is beneficial, candidates with previous backgrounds in trauma-informed care, adolescent mental health, or family therapy will excel in this position. Experience with teletherapy or online counseling platforms will also be advantageous in this remote work arrangement.

Compensation and Benefits

A competitive salary ranging from USD 115,000 to 130,000 per year, based on experience and caseload, is offered along with a comprehensive benefits package.
