Exciting Opportunity for Vascular/PICC IV Therapy RN!

Job Description:


- Shift:
- Day 3x12-Hour (07:00 - 19:00)
- Night 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:00)

- Position Overview:
- Travel experience is essential! We are seeking a seasoned Vascular/PICC Nurse.
- Float between units based on needs.

- Key Responsibilities:
- Perform sterile dressing changes and peripheral IV placements.
- Conduct ultrasound-guided IV placements.
- Troubleshoot vascular access issues.
- Minimal PICC and midline placement required daily (about 1-5 consults).

- Requirements:
- Previous travel nursing experience.
- Certification in Vascular Access Nursing.
- Proficiency in Epic charting system.
- Ability to float to various units as needed.

- Unit Details:
- Team of 3 during day shifts; only 1 clinician at night.
- Interdisciplinary support available, including IV teams, respiratory services, and pharmacy.

- Additional Information:
- Must have personal vehicle for this assignment.
- Flexibility to work weekends required.
- CPR certification and references (2) covering 1 year of experience needed.

- Special Considerations:
- Must commit to working 3 of the 5 major holidays.
- All requests for time off must be made during submission.
