We are seeking a skilled Neurohospitalist Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant/Associate to join our growing inpatient neurology team at Manatee Memorial Hospital and the Lakewood Ranch Medical Center in sunny, Florida. - Practice Setting: Inpatient neurology across two hospitals
- Support/Care Team: Clinical nurse specialists, stroke coordinators, neurosurgeons, hospitalists, and intensivists
- EMR: Cerner
Responsibilities
- Provide inpatient Neurohospitalist services to Manatee Memorial Hospital and Lakewoood Ranch Medical Center
- Treat a wide range of neurological disorders with a focus on acute stroke care
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including clinical nurse specialists, stroke coordinators, and dedicated care management professionals.
- Comprehensive onsite neurosurgery services to support patient care

Qualifications
- Active or the ability to obtain a Florida Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant/Associate (PA) license
- Previous experience in Neurology or as an APP Neurohospitalist, strongly preferred
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills

The 319-bed facility offers emergency care, cardiac and cardiovascular surgery, robotic-assisted surgery with daVinci system, comprehensive orthopedic and oncology services, women's and children's care including Level II NICU, supported by over 800 medical staff.
Lakewood Ranch Medical Center Located in Lakewood Ranch, a 120-bed, Joint Commission-accredited acute care hospital serving a fast-growing community with emergency services, maternity care, breast health, cardiology, stroke care, robotic and general surgery programs, and 750+ affiliated physicians. A $120M expansion including a five-story ICU and progressive care tower is underway, opening December 2025.
