Program Coordinator

PROGRAM COORDINATOR Laboratory for Nuclear Science - AI+Science Initiative will coordinate and perform operational and administrative activities for the MIT AI+Science Initiative within the School of Science, including administration, finance, communications, outreach, and other functions; and provide advanced administrative support for the Director of the initiative. Full job description is available at Requirements Bachelor's degree and a minimum of two years of project/program management experience; Excellent organizational, interpersonal, collaboration, and project management skills; Demonstrated experience in designing and implementing high-quality activities, programs and services; Ability to establish and maintain effective and cooperative working relationships with others, while also working autonomously; Ability to troubleshoot problems and respond to inquiries and requests related to the work area in a timely manner; Excellent knowledge of MS Office and other office software; Strong written and verbal communication skills; Professional attitude, maturity, and strong customer service skills; Must be able to use judgment, and recognize the need for a high level of confidentiality; Impeccable attention to detail and follow-through on tasks. This is a two-year term, part-time position at 20 hours per week (50% effort).
