Role Description Job Title: MSSQL DBA Location: Chandler, AZ (Onsite) Key Responsibilities Install, configure and administer Microsoft SQL Server environments Monitor database health, availability and performance Perform database backup, recovery, refreshes and disaster recovery activities Manage High Availability and Disaster Recovery: Always On, Replication, Log Shipping, Mirroring Analyse and optimise slow‑running queries, indexes and execution plans Troubleshoot blocking, deadlocks, performance issues and database corruption Implement database security, user management and compliance controls Perform SQL Server patching, upgrades and migrations Support database automation and operational excellence initiatives Primary Skills MS SQL Server Administration SQL Server 2016, 2019, 2022 T‑SQL Performance Tuning / Query Optimisation Backup and Recovery Always On Availability Groups High Availability & Disaster Recovery SQL Server Monitoring & Troubleshooting Index Management & Execution Plan Analysis Database Security & User Access Management Secondary Skills Azure SQL PaaS / IaaS SQL Server Migration SSIS CDC / Change Data Capture PowerShell, Python Scripting Ansible Automation Linux Administration Grafana, Splunk, Loki Monitoring Tools ServiceNow CICD and DevOps Exposure Good to Have Azure SQL Managed Instance MySQL / Oracle Exposure ETL Performance Tuning Cloud Database Administration Infrastructure Automation Excel – Ready Skill Split Other Details Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, performance and internal equity.
