Description

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients in either inpatient or outpatient settings and craft tailored treatment plans
• Implement physical therapy interventions aimed at enhancing mobility, strength, balance, and functionality
• Partner with nurses, physicians, case managers, and other rehabilitation professionals to maximize patient outcomes
• Guide patients and their families on therapeutic ambitions, discharge plans, and at-home exercise regimens
• Maintain detailed documentation of evaluations, treatments, and advancements as per facility and regulatory standards
• Engage in collaborative team meetings and interdisciplinary discussions to ensure cohesive care

Education

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution

Certifications

• State licensure as a Rehabilitation Specialist / Physical Therapist
• CPR certification is preferred
• Additional specialized certifications (e.g., neurological, geriatric) are advantageous but not mandatory
