Mechanicsville, VA Pay From: $22 per hour

MUST:

• 1+ year of recent experience in the eye care/optical field
• Experience fitting patients with glasses and assisting with frame selections
• Knowledge of various lenses, design and fit
• Reviewing explanation of benefits with patients
• Interpreting prescriptions
• Experience processing and collecting payments
• Verifying insurance
• Processing eye glass orders and contact lenses
• Must have strong verbal and written communication skills
• Must have experience scheduling appointments

DUTIES:

• Assist patients with selecting glasses
• Ensure proper fit of frames
• Verify insurance benefits
• Review explanation of benefits with patients
• Place orders for glasses and contact lenses
• Collect and process payments
• Answer phones
• Schedule appointments
• Check patients in
• Assist patients with selecting and ordering eye glasses including frames and lenses
• Prepare and review patient charts
• Clean displays
