Visit sahuaritaaz.gov and tucsonaz.gov to learn more.## **What You Will Do*** Perform routine and non-routine chemical and/or metallurgical analytical tasks at assigned site.* May collect samples which could include collection from rail cars or trucks in some locations* Prepare samples for analysis using established tests and techniques.* Assists with/performs routine chemical and/or metallurgical analysis and reporting.* Maintain laboratory instrumentation and equipment* Perform other duties as required## **What You Bring To Freeport*** Demonstrated knowledge of math, chemistry and/or computer skills appropriate to the assignment* Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing* Ability to develop and maintain awareness of occupational hazards and safety precautions## **Preferred Qualifications*** High School diploma or GED* Experience with mathematic and/or numbers based tasks* Experience with chemical sample preparation and/or analysis* Ability to follow detailed, technical instructions* Experience with tedious or repetitive motions or tasks* Strong organizational and documentation skills* Strong proficiency using MS Excel to develop and maintain spreadsheets reports, and other documentation**What We Offer You**The estimated pay range for this role is currently **$21.00 - $29.00/hour.** This range reflects base salary only and does not include bonus payments, benefits or retirement contributions. Actual base pay is determined by experience, qualifications, skills and other job-related factors. This role is eligible for additional discretionary and incentive payment considerations based on company and individual performance. More details will be shared during the hiring process.
