Salary: $156,000 - 156,000 per year Requirements:

• We require at least five years of experience in business analysis, process improvement, program support, or a closely related field.
• We need experience facilitating stakeholders, eliciting requirements, and supporting technology implementations.
• We require experience creating user stories, use cases, business process models, workflow diagrams, and requirements traceability matrices.
• We need experience supporting enterprise-wide modernization or digital transformation efforts.
• We require familiarity with election administration, voter registration processes, election security concepts, or election-related regulatory requirements.
• We require a high school diploma or equivalent.
• We require five years of business analysis experience.

We are the Nevada Secretary of State seeking a Business Analyst consultant to help modernize Nevadas Voter Registration and Election Management System (VREMS). This is a 1099 contract role based in Carson City, NV, with some on-site work required and local candidates only. The assignment runs from August 2026 through at least June 2027 and offers pay of $75 per hour. We are looking for someone who thrives in complex, evolving environments, works effectively with executive leaders, county election officials, technical teams, and vendors, and can independently move work forward by facilitating consensus and turning business needs into practical solutions.
