Job Responsibilities

• Perform thorough patient evaluations, which include physical examinations and comprehensive reviews of medical histories
• Assist in assessing and diagnosing surgical conditions through the analysis of imaging studies and lab results
• Work closely with surgeons to develop and implement individualized surgical treatment plans
• Provide intraoperative assistance, which includes preparing operation rooms, ensuring proper patient positioning, and managing surgical instruments during operations
• Offer exceptional pre- and post-operative care, including medication administration, wound care, discharge planning, and patient education

Education Requirements

• Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program
• Completion of clinical rotations with a strong emphasis on surgery is highly preferred

Certification Requirements

• Current and unrestricted PA-C certification
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• State licensure (or eligibility) as a Physician Assistant
