the client seeks an inspirational and visionary leader to serve as its next Dean. The role will uphold the school’s mission and values, rooted in a Jesuit Catholic tradition, and will lead the business school’s continued preparation of ethical, innovative leaders who aim to transform organizations and society for the common good. The next Dean will foster collaboration within the business school across departments and across the broader university community, while also engaging and energizing an active alumni network. The Dean will represent the school as an engaged academic, business, and civic leader, strengthening ties to Silicon Valley, and will work to expand strategic partnerships with the local business community and beyond. Key responsibilities include embracing the school’s distinctive identity, location, and mission to increase visibility and impact; inspiring and leading a vision for innovation, excellence, and impact; continuing the development of innovative, forward-thinking curricula and programs aligned with evolving business education needs; attracting and supporting a world-class faculty and staff; and strengthening operational infrastructure and efficiency. The Dean will also strategically steward and grow school resources to achieve the community’s vision, while enhancing academic and professional success for all students.
