Position Summary

GTS is seeking an experienced Module Line Production Manager to lead the daily execution, coordination, and performance of assigned aircraft engine module production programs.

This is a hands-on production leadership role with direct operational ownership of assigned modules from induction through disassembly, inspection, technical findings, material disposition, repair, replacement-material coordination, assembly, final inspection, documentation, and shipment or return to the engine line.

The ideal candidate will have strong turbine engine module knowledge, production leadership experience, material-control discipline, and the ability to identify constraints and drive modules toward safe, compliant, and on-time completion.

Key Responsibilities

• Take direct production ownership of assigned engine modules from induction through completion and delivery readiness.
• Develop and maintain production schedules, milestones, priorities, and recovery plans for each assigned module.
• Lead daily module-line production activities and establish clear priorities for supervisors, leads, technicians, inspectors, and supporting departments.
• Maintain accurate visibility of module status, work remaining, material shortages, repairs, customer requirements, and production constraints.
• Conduct regular production-floor reviews to verify actual progress against scheduled milestones.
• Coordinate manpower and resources based on workload, technical requirements, customer priorities, and committed delivery dates.
• Maintain accountability and traceability of customer-owned, serialized, and configuration-sensitive material.
• Coordinate customer-supplied replacement material and parts requiring return to customers.
• Actively manage outside repairs and track critical components through shipment, repair, receipt, inspection, and return to production.
• Work closely with Planning, Purchasing, Inventory Control, Engineering, Quality, Inspection, Customer Service, Shipping & Receiving, and Outside Repair.
• Identify material, repair, engineering, tooling, manpower, customer-approval, and other critical-path constraints.
• Protect module turnaround time and committed delivery dates by identifying schedule risks early and implementing recovery actions.
• Monitor labor utilization and production efficiency.
• Ensure production activities comply with applicable FAA/EASA requirements, GTS procedures, approved technical data, configuration requirements, and quality standards.
• Drive continuous improvement and reduce avoidable waiting time, rework, material delays, and production disruptions.

Required Qualifications

• 7–10 years of aircraft turbine engine or module MRO experience, or equivalent technical and operational experience.
• 3–5 years of experience in a production, module, supervisory, lead, or management position.
• Demonstrated experience managing turbine engine modules through an MRO production environment.
• Experience within an FAA Part 145 Repair Station strongly preferred.
• Direct experience with CFM56, CF6, LEAP, or comparable commercial turbine engine platforms highly desirable.
• Experience with outside repair, material coordination, and/or customer-property management highly desirable.
• Working knowledge of engine/module architecture, disassembly and assembly, piece-part inspection, work scope development, technical manuals, material requirements, traceability, production planning, ERP/MRP systems, work orders, and production travelers.

Preferred Certifications

• FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) Certificate preferred.
• FAA Repairman Certificate experience beneficial.
• OEM engine/module training highly desirable.
• Lean Manufacturing / Six Sigma training beneficial.
