Provide specialized speech-language pathology assessments and therapeutic interventions to patients with communication, speech, language, and swallowing disorders. Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop individualized treatment plans and promote patient progress. Responsibilities:
- Evaluate patients' communication and swallowing abilities through comprehensive assessments.
- Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans tailored to each patient's needs.
- Document patient progress, treatment sessions, and clinical findings accurately.
- Educate patients and families on strategies to improve communication skills and manage disorders.
- Maintain adherence to facility policies, including bringing valid identification and wearing a photo badge during shifts.
- Hold a valid state or federal license as a Speech Language Pathologist.
- Possess current certification from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
- Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Have prior experience in a clinical or hospital setting preferred.
- Be able to work flexible hours, typically weekdays, during contracted weeks.
