Requirements:

• Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL)
• RID or state certification as a Sign Language Interpreter
• Previous experience interpreting in a school environment, preferably at the high school level
• Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

• Facilitate clear communication between deaf or hard-of-hearing high school students and their peers and teachers

• Collaborate with school staff to ensure appropriate accommodations are met
