Job Title: Dairy/Frozen Assistant

The Dairy/Frozen Assistant is responsible for assisting the Dairy/Frozen Manager in the successful operation and profitability of the Dairy/Frozen department.

Responsibilities include providing world class customer service, exemplifying integrity, responsibility, and excellence, creating inviting departments, assisting in ordering and maintaining inventory, managing margin and profitability, ensuring product standards, offering and following up on special orders, merchandising shelves and displays, assisting in training and monitoring personnel, conducting demos, supporting store activities, handling register functions, maintaining safety and security, answering customer questions, increasing product knowledge, and using software and IS programs as needed.

This position requires working a schedule based on store needs, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and attending mandatory store meetings.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, experience in grocery or retail, food safety training, excellent customer service skills, organization, attention to detail, cashier training, and proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.
