Sr. Salesforce Administrator

The Senior Salesforce Administrator will design, implement, automate, test, deploy, and support the Salesforce platform, collaborating with the product owner, solution architect, and other administrators to contribute to initiatives from the product roadmap. The role focuses on Salesforce configuration, administration, and support, with potential tasks including interface configuration, API integrations, automated testing, and platform deployments in a DevSecOps environment. Our team aims to deliver an exceptional experience for Wealth Management and Capital Markets customers. Responsibilities Manage all aspects of user and license administration including new user setup, deactivation, roles, profiles, permission sets, public groups, OWD, and sharing rules. Own Salesforce configuration including Flows, assignment rules, approval processes, fields, page layouts, record types, dynamic layouts, apps, actions, custom settings, mobile administration, dashboards, and reports. Identify and gather requirements, translating them into scalable, best-practice solutions with a strong focus on user experience. Identify unused or underutilized platform features and recommend improvements. Create and maintain a platform roadmap, define priorities, and liaise with stakeholders. Communicate platform changes to end users and stakeholders. Implement data quality rules and automation to improve Salesforce data integrity. Manage sandbox environments, data hygiene, and basic release management including change sets. Perform proactive system maintenance including security reviews, release updates, and health checks. Provide day-to-day end-user support, troubleshooting, and issue resolution with a focus on customer satisfaction. Deliver new user onboarding and ongoing training to drive user adoption. Manage and support integrated applications including Marketing Cloud/Pardot. Work with stakeholders and business analysts to document, implement, and optimize system requirements. Maintain accurate technical documentation of system configurations, processes, and user guides. Work iteratively within a collaborative Agile team managing tasks and help tickets in a fast-paced environment. Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, or other technology-related field or equivalent experience. 5+ years’ experience with OOP development (e.g., Java, Apex, C#). 5+ years’ experience with designing and implementing REST APIs for distributed applications. 3+ years’ experience with Salesforce Administration. Experience designing and implementing microservices with API integration patterns for scale and reuse. Experience converting web services from SOAP to RESTful. Working knowledge of OpenAPI Spec/Swagger. Experience with API testing automation (e.g., Postman or similar). Ability to write quality unit, functional, and automated tests. Experience with testing frameworks (JUnit, Selenium, NUnit, etc.). Experience with API security concepts (OAuth 2.0, throttling, certificates, keys, etc.). Experience using API management solutions (e.g., Zuul Proxy, AWS API Gateway). Familiarity with databases (e.g., MySQL, MongoDB, Oracle, SQL Server). Working knowledge of Test-Driven and Behavior-Driven Development. Experience with Git (Bitbucket, GitHub, GitLab) as a version control system. Experience with AWS is desirable; experience with Node.js is desirable. Knowledge of Agile and DevOps methodologies. Effective written and verbal communication abilities. Compensation Compensation range (base pay): $89,828.00-$148,215.00. This role may have a specific starting pay within this range. Final compensation offer may vary based on experience, education, and skill level. Work Environment It is anticipated that the incumbent will work onsite at the posted location. The onsite environment fosters collaboration and professional growth with a vibrant culture. Work location is subject to change based on business needs.
