Materials Support Coordinator

The Materials Support position plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth flow of materials within the manufacturing facility. This position is responsible for receiving, stocking, distributing, and tracking raw materials and components necessary for production, as well as handling the final products. The individual in this role works closely with production teams, inventory management, and supply chain departments to maintain efficient manufacturing operations.

Responsibilities:

• Performs the physical and administrative tasks involved in the shipping, receiving, storing and distributing of materials, parts, supplies and equipment
• Unpacks and checks goods received against purchase orders or invoices, maintains records of received goods and rejects unsatisfactory items
• Verify inventory, perform physical counts of stock, and investigate discrepancies
• Prepares and maintains records of merchandise shipped and received, posts weights and shipping charges, and prepares goods for final shipment
• Ensure proper labeling, packaging, and handling of materials for outgoing shipments
• Examines, stocks, and distributes materials in inventory and on manufacturing lines
• Prepare kitting packages for assembly production
• Work closely with production teams to ensure materials are available when needed
• Maintain inventory levels and management of expiration dates of chemicals and epoxies
• Perform cycle counts and physical inventory audits
• Maintain accurate records of material transactions using inventory management software
• Ensure proper documentation of material movements between warehouse, production, and shipping areas

Required Experience and Skills:

• Associate Degree or Equivalent Experience Required
• 5 years minimum experience in the semiconductor industry
• Intermediate computer skills (Windows environment, SAP, and Microsoft Office Preferred)
• Knowledge in working with inventory management and barcode systems a plus
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team setting
• Hands-on, Cooperative, Team Player, and Positive Attitude a Must

Desired Experience and Skills:

• Ability to lift and move materials up to 50 pounds.
• Standing, walking, and working in a warehouse or production environment for extended periods.
