Summary As a Mailroom Scanning & Processing Clerk at Gainwell, you'll play an important role in supporting California's Medi-Cal program by preparing, organizing, and processing healthcare documents for scanning. This is a high-volume, production-focused position where accuracy, organization, and attention to detail are important. Your role in our mission Prepare, pre-screen, sort, and batch paper claims and other documents for scanning and processing. Review documents to ensure they are properly organized and prepared before scanning. Sort and organize documents by type to support accurate and efficient processing. Perform scanning and document-processing activities in a high-volume production environment. Meet established daily productivity, accuracy, and quality standards. Follow written procedures and guidelines to ensure work is completed accurately and consistently. Maintain confidentiality when handling healthcare and other sensitive information. Work collaboratively with team members to meet production goals and contractual service-level requirements. What we're looking for High school diploma or GED. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to perform repetitive, accuracy-focused work in a high-volume environment. Ability to follow written policies, procedures, and detailed instructions. Good time-management skills and the ability to meet daily production expectations. Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, and SharePoint. Previous experience in mailroom operations, document scanning, document processing, records management, data entry, claims processing, or other high-volume administrative work is preferred. What you should expect in this role Fully onsite in Rancho Cordova, California, five days per week. Work schedule: 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Reliable and consistent attendance is required. Work in a production-focused environment with established daily productivity and quality expectations This position may also be used to build a pipeline of qualified candidates for current and future opportunities supporting Gainwell operations. The pay range for this position is $32,600 - $46,500 per year, however, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
