Part Time Support Teacher

Future Opening: Part Time Support Teacher We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Support Teacher to join our team. As a Support Teacher, you will be responsible for creating a nurturing and stimulating environment where young children can learn and grow. Your role will involve developing age-appropriate lesson plans, implementing educational activities, and providing a safe and supportive learning environment for children. Duties Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that promote the intellectual, social, emotional, and physical development of preschool-aged children Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages active participation and fosters a love for learning Provide individualized attention to each child, ensuring their unique needs are met Utilize various teaching methods and resources to accommodate different learning styles Incorporate play-based activities to enhance cognitive skills, creativity, and problem-solving abilities Monitor and assess student progress, providing feedback and support as needed Collaborate with parents/guardians to ensure open communication and involvement in their child's education Maintain accurate records of student attendance, progress, and behavior Qualifications Previous experience working with preschool-aged children in a childcare or educational setting Strong knowledge of early childhood development principles and best practices Familiarity with lesson planning techniques and curriculum development Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with children, parents/guardians, and colleagues Patience, creativity, and enthusiasm for working with young children Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of students CPR/First Aid certification is a plus At our preschool, we offer competitive pay rates, professional development opportunities, and a supportive work environment.
