Dental Assistant (with RDA)

We’re currently looking for a Specialty Dental Assistant to join our Castle Dental team in the Nashville market. This is a part‑time position, traveling throughout the market supporting our Periodontist. An ideal role for someone who enjoys variety, flexibility, and working across multiple teams and office environments. Schedule (days/hours) 2-3 days every other week, 8am - 5pm schedule. Responsibilities Assist the dentist during exams and procedures, ensuring efficiency and patient comfort Take and develop dental X‑rays as needed Sterilize and prepare instruments and treatment rooms following infection control protocols Educate patients on oral hygiene, post‑treatment care, and dental procedures Maintain accurate patient records and update charts Qualifications Minimum 1 year of dental assisting experience (Specialty experience preferred) Meet the state‑specific Registered Dental Assistant credentialing requirements Dental Radiology Certification (X‑Ray) Current CPR/BLS certification (or ability to obtain prior to start date) Knowledge of dental terminology, infection control protocols, and OSHA/HIPAA standards Strong communication and commitment to excellent patient care Compensation $16 -$18/hr About Us / Benefits Benefits are determined by employment status/hours worked and include paid time off (PTO), health, dental, vision, health savings account, telemedicine, flexible spending accounts, life insurance, disability insurance, employee discount programs, pet insurance, and a 401k plan.
